Living and working in the heavenly Ribble Valley in Lancashire, Nicky has always made the most of her gift of painting animals. Working predominantly in pastels her love of all creatures, their character, humour, and sensitivity just shines through each carefully considered artwork.

Here at the Priory Gallery, we are proud to represent Nicky in the beautiful Cotswolds. The new collection comprises many favourites of charming hares, foxes, squirrels, and farmyard animals but this time Nicky has not only been inspired by the household family dog but has also explored the essential qualities of the oh so graceful cat.

Nicky has exhibited far and wide and over the years has won many awards. Her artwork has been regularly selected for inclusion in the Annual Pastel Society Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London. She has been featured in several publications including the Pastel Journal, a highly respected US publication devoted entirely to the medium of pastel. Since winning the Society for all Artists, Artist of the Year, Animal Category in 2008 Nicky's work has become much in demand.
